Roshni arrived at our hostel facility in 2019 when she was six years old with a recommendation from the local government. She also comes from the DALIT caste, the so-called lower caste (untouchable) in Nepal. Roshni's dad died of jaundice 18 months before she arrived at our hostel facility. Her mom, who works as laborer and farmer, takes care of two other children with limited resources. Roshni is happy to go to school and be at our hostel facility.
